The gold-pack is a hard subfloor with anti-slip properties, which provides more strength, exactly what a PVC floor with a click system needs. The gold-pack subfloor is best used in apartments and storey floors, partly due to the aforementioned properties, but also due to the 10dB impact sound improvement.
